This is the piece that started the whole “Fleeting Gems” series. These daffodils were the first to bloom of the season and I could not help myself to grab a few stick them in this blue bottle and get to painting. It was in this piece that the cyclical and magical nature of this work was revealed. A circle hovers around the main florals. Dots and dashes signify time passing and float by cloud like forms in the background.
